- Since the group was formed little integration had been accomplished
- All functions were duplicative in the 5 companies and Procurement was the first to integrate
Project Scope:
- Integrate Procurement under a center-led structure
- Provide interim leadership Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)
- Reduce cost through strategic sourcing
Project Outcomes:
- Achieved cost reductions totaling $20m in annualized savings
- Implemented savings of over $10m/year by project week 20
- Improved spend management, RFx process, contract management, P2P, and Supplier performance
- Established Category Management processes in conjunction with Key Performance Indicators at Site and central Purchasing Functions
- Redesigned and implemented center-led organization
- Assessed incumbent staff and upskill retained incumbent
- Developed an Implementation Roadmap
